KK7 Rím - Niektoré z umeleckých diel, ktoré boli vrátené zo Spojených štátov, predstavili na tlačovej konferencii v Ríme 29. apríla 2026. Spojené štáty v uplynulých mesiacoch vrátili Taliansku viac než 300 odcudzených starožitností, oznámila v stredu talianska polícia. Medzi najvýznamnejšie získané predmety patrí mramorová hlava Alexandra Veľkého z 1. storočia, ktorú v roku 1960 ukradli z múzea v Ríme. FOTO TASR/ANSA Some of the artworks repatriated from the United States were presented at a press conference by the Carabinieri for the Protection of Cultural Heritage in Rome, Italy, 29 April 2026. 337 objects, mainly archaeological finds from the Roman era but also from the Byzantine and Magna Graecia periods, works of art and archive materials, largely from clandestine excavations or stolen from institutions, were repatriated from the United States and presented today at the headquarters of the Carabinieri operational unit for the protection of Cultural Heritage.
